About Us

In 2007 two companies joined forces to create crowdbox, a content delivery and social networking tool designed for the meetings and conference industries. There were two main questions that seemed no one else was attempting to answer:

  1. What are large conferences doing to reach their massive audience of non-attendees?

Typically, most large events pay for an A/V company to record the event. But then what? What happens to all that rich content? Most organizers don't know what to do with all that content. Should I put it on YouTUBE? Host it myself on a simple landing page?

We've designed crowdbox to be the solution to this question. Create an interactive and social library from your content. This way your event continues to live on as a virtual ecosystem powered by your audience's knowledge.

  2. What are large events doing to better connect their attendees, exhibitors, and non-attendees?

LinkedIn groups? Facebook groups? That's pretty good stuff. But with the world of social networking becoming such a powerful force in business, it's important to cater to your audience's level of professionalism. We try to take the best features from the social networking world and apply them as appropriate to the conference world, where the face-to-face meeting trumps all. It's also a way to avoid having to type in all those business cards!
